Classroom4.eu is a project of the European Academy of Yuste. The members of the Academy have been elected on account of their excellent artistic, scientific, political or intellectual achievements and their outstanding contributions towards a shared European culture. The work of the Academy is supported by the European Academy of Yuste Foundation (director Antonio Ventura Diaz Diaz, representative in Brussels Miguel Martin Ramos). The academy is a forum for discussion, analysis and reflection on the emergence of a democratic and social Europe in the arts and the sciences, in economics, law and politics.
The European Academy of Yuste has proposed, in a Declaration of 19 June 2008, a project to establish an interactive curriculum for High School students in Europe.
Classroom4.eu is the website for this project and starts with an essay contest on the following topics: the Post, the (optical) Lens, the Keyboard, the Portrait, the (secret) Ballot. Other topics will follow in the next school year.
Classroom4.eu operates with a core-team of six experienced (eTwinning) teachers using together 6 languages: Spanish, English, German, French, Polish, and Dutch. The core-team will organize the cooperation with different teachers in history, biology, physics, geography and arts, from schools in Europe, to write with their classrooms short essays about themes for the school year 2010-2011: the Post, the Lens, the Portrait, the Keyboard and the (secret) Ballot. Participating students and teachers can sent in their contributions for the Essay Contest. These essays will be published in the Contest Gallery (See The Call for Contest).

Członkowie Akademii zostali wybrani z uwagi na ich wspaniałe osiągnięcia artystyczne, naukowe, polityczne i kulturalne oraz wybitny wkład w kultury europejskiej. Praca Akademii jest wspierana przez Fundację Europejskiej Akademii Yuste (dyrektor Antonio Ventura Diaz Diaz, reprezentowany w Brukseli przez Miguela Martina Ramosa.) Akademia jest to forum dyskusji, analizy i refleksji nad powstaniem (stworzeniem) Europy demokratycznej i społecznej w sztuce, nauce, ekonomii, prawie i polityce.
Europejska Akademia Yuste zaproponowała w oświadczeniu z dnia 19 czerwca 2008 r. projekt utworzenia interaktywnego programu nauczania dla uczniów szkół średnich w Europie.
Classroom4.eu jest stroną internetową dla tego projektu i rozpoczyna się konkurs na esej na następujące tematy: Poczta, Soczewka, Klawiatura, Portret, Urna wyborcza. Inne tematy zostaną przedstawione w przyszłym roku szkolnym.
Classroom4.eu działa przy pomocy zespołu sześciu doświadczonych (e-Twinning) nauczycieli, używających łącznie 6 języków: hiszpańskiego, angielskiego, niemieckiego, francuskiego, polskiego i niderlandzkiego. Zespół organizuje współpracę pomiędzy różnymi nauczycielami uczącymi historii, biologii, fizyki, geografii i sztuki w szkołach europejskich. Proponuje napisanie krótkich esejów na takie tematy jak: Poczta, Soczewka, Portret, Klawiatura i Tajne Głosowanie.
Uczniowie i nauczyciele, biorący udział w pisaniu mogą wysłać swoje dzieła na konkurs esejów. Eseje te będą opublikowane w Galerii Konkursowej (zobacz: Zaproszenie do konkursu)
